Tried to do this phone for my dad. First there is an activation fee, which is unusual in this day and age. I guess most seniors aren't aware of that. Second, they ask a ton of really dumb questions before they even get to activation. Third, if it is a smart phone that you do not want to use internet, etc., on they tell you you can't. That their unlimited text and phone plan requires a data plan too at $24.99 per month. Bringing the $19.99 advertised plan up $5. Even though their minimum data plan is only $2.49/mth. They false advertise. For seniors, please note, as long as you don't use any carrier data, you can use a voice and text-only SIM card in whatever smartphone you want and not have a data plan. Smh.
