BUYER BEWARE! I purchased this item in February. Yesterday, the tempered glass, out of nowhere (there was nothing on it but napkins), spontaneously exploded into a million shards of glass which flew all over the living room. Small children were in the next room. This would have caused serious injury or worse if anyone had been in the room at the time!! It was terrifying and extremely upsetting. Took hours and hours to clean and there are still tiny shards embedded everywhere. I would never want a replacement of this product for fear of the same thing happening again. Have tried getting in touch with the company unsuccessfully. A full refund is in order as well as compensation for cleaning crew.
