it took me over a hour of searching to finally pick a chopper . I read tons of reviews and this really did get great ones. Let me tell you if I could've given a ZERO above I would!! First you almost have to stand on it to get the blade through the item. I cut a 1/4" potato slice I couldn't get enough strength and had to get my husband to force it through, it was making a crack noise like it was going to break. Thennnn I tried to "julienne" a carrot Not only did it immediately stain the plastic orange but the carrot just smooshed through some of the blade so I tried a chop one carrot juice. JUNK so disappointed now I have to return it. GRRRR
