This has MAJOR issues!
Okay, with the amount of money you end up putting into this machine you could get a very very nice powerful gas powered snow blower. Once you buy this unit you have to purchase 2 expensive batteries and an expensive charger.
Fine, I did that. I bit the bullet and now here I am. Two snow storms later and I am absolutely pissed.
First things first this thing is a toy. It has no weight. Weight is super essential to have traction and to be able to scrape the last bit of snow off of your drive way or sidewalk. Even with the batteries I could throw this POS 20 feet in the nearest garbage bin.
Second thing... the second this thing sees wet snow, it struggles as much as my 39 year old butt shoveling. It takes a deep sigh, it stretches, and it slowly and clumsily tries to throw the heavy stuff only to drain all of its energy after about 10 minutes. I had to shove this thing into a wet snow bank to clear the end of my drive way! See plows dont care where your drive way is... they just cover it up. So now its up to me and this 10 pound sad snow blower to clear it so my nurse wife can go on to help people in need.
Third thing, these cheap plastic toy wheels are a disgrace! My 2 Year old has a Tonka Truck with better wheels than this thing. Without the weight of a real engine, you basically drag this thing over the snow... not roll it. You drag it like some unwilling dance partner. One of you wants to be out there on the dance floor, the other just wants to lay down.
This machine will be fine for you people in Tennessee who see .5" of snow fall annually. But in Wisconsin? Ha ha ha ha ha... I got ripped off. No doubt about it.
