I take back my previous review. Lol This is a large capacity bowl, but we have had nurmeous issues with it. It doesn't make any noise and the cats do like it when it works. The spout doesn't disperse water all the time. We've cleaned it daily, wiping it to make sure it's not clogged. The fact that it is stainless steel was initially great, but it's like one of those cookie tins you get at Christmas. You have to open it to make sure there is water inside, and it suctions closed. So you have a hard time opening it with water on top spilling all over the place. There is no way to tell how much water is in this thing unless you open it . There is no easy way to refill with water unless you check to open it. And again, wrestling with the top is not fun and is very messy. Often times we have to pry it open with a spoon or screwdriver to release that suction. It's too late for me to return this item, so I had to share my issues with this bowl.
