Do not buy from any third party seller. You get no warranty. You get stuck holding the bag.
This is a copy of my feedback to bowflex. I purchased a set of the bowflex 1090 and a stand from Amazon on November 28 2016. The largest plates' tooth snapped off and no longer catches the weight. I called for a warranty repair or replacement. Somehow buying on Amazon means I purchased from an unauthorized third party dealer that uses Amazon. First off thanks for not standing behind your product. And I've literally never seen workout equipment so poorly made. I own a martial arts Academy in Brooklyn these were for my own personal use. Had I not had to pay for a plate and just shipping it would be ok. Not great because the overall quality is really disappointing. I'm not a fitness model on Instagram but between my 5000 followers there my 300 paying members at my Academy and my youtube and facebook prescence coupled with the business fan pages I will shouting from the rooftops about elitefts, rogue, and even cap before I speak on the quality of your product. Especially your shady dodging of the warranty replacement. Through my already public bowflex rants I've already heard the same issue from another school owner. ( the one who told me to get them sadly enough ) Because his staff of three was allowed to use the same dumbbell set and a tooth also broke on a weight it wasn't covered because each employee didn't have their own that they took off premises. It seems like you guys do a lot more work jumping through hoops not helping customers that actually making a good product for those same customers that can last under a year. That's a shame. Too bad I have an airdyne too otherwise I will never but a product from any of these companies listed below. At what point did weightlifting become the equivalent of handling faberge eggs? You guys don't want third party sales yet have not stopped it. It's smart you make money on both ends the sale and the unwarrantied service your subpar dust collectors need. -Steven Crocilla Jr
