I purchased this product to supply power to my campers a/c unit and acc. items. The power is adequate (most of the time) and the noise level during heavy loads is somewhat acceptable compared to my construction grade 5k. I would like to know what the actual db is while under load as the description states that the load noise level is at 25 feet and at idle. Running it at full capacity was noticeable on our last camping trip as evidenced by the looks we got from our neighbors while we used it. Also, the unit seems to smell of gas while running, not spilled gas but rather unburnt gas being expelled by the muffler. Lastly, the propane adapter showed up broken in the packaging and is unusable. I've left a message with the manufacturer and have not received a response. I purchased this until specifically for the dual fuel capability but cannot currently utilize it. I don't regret purchasing this unit but if I had to do it again I would've just purchased another Honda 2k companion to go with my current 2k. The weight of this unit and its size are not conducive to picking it up and hoisting it into pick up bed or storage box. If I had two smaller and lighter generators to run together I would be happier. *Update* I've been trying for six months to return this item of have the parts that were broke on delivery replaced no avail. The gas smell got progressively worse and I believe it to be a safety concern at this point. I followed all the appropriate break-in procedures and used non ethanol gas for what its worth. I've emailed the shipper and manufacturer and have not received a response from either. I pretty much just wasted $1100. *Update. Amazons return policy saved the day and this unit was returned for a full refund! I upgraded my review to reflect not the product but rather Amazons return policy.
