Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I read extensive product reviews before purchased this product. I received it yesterday. I watched videos on the internet and picked out most fresh and high quality vegetables from farmers market. In otherwords I wanted to make sure that I would use this product correctly. I tried this product this morning with zucchinis, yellow squarshes, carrots and apples, I agreed that the product has all the BAD "features" as stated in all the "1 star" reviews. I doubt this is the same product that all the people who left the "5 star" reviews were using. I just watched another YouTube on the net, I suspect this product is a Knickoff from the real product; or may be the real product is a piece of junk, who knows. This is a piece of junk, poorly made, horribly performed. Please DO NOT waste your money and time. Add the following on 10/11/2013: I found a CHIBA Turning Slicer Made in Japan from an eBay seller otomo217. Because of the bad experience of buying this Paderno Junk, I contacted a buyer who purchased CHIBA Turning Slicer before made my purchase. I received good recommandation from that buyer. I made the purchase of the slicer, received and used it, I am very satisfied with the tool. The slicer is fantastic, made in Japan, it is of high quality and does everything as advertised. The seller is great. I believe they have a store in Long Island, NY. Amazon should remove this Paderno Junk, all the potential buyers should read reviews of recent dates, instead of old reviews dated several years ago.
