I bought this back in Jun and did not have a chance to test it out until this past October. While using it, the canister holding shells part of the unit did not seem to fit the canisters properly. On my first attempt to use it, it started to work then the section where the canister was being held combusted and started to shoot out flames. I turned it off and it still started to shoot flames. It took some time to put it out! I tried to use a different canister... same result! Spend the extra cash and get a better qulity stove!
