It is not "Blue Carbon Steel"
Anyone that has bought this, you need to strip the blue paint off with a wire wheel and season it. The blue stuff that is on it when it arrives is paint and it will chip off and end up in your food. You do not want to eat paint do you? The picture that I've added is after about 40 minutes of work with a drill and a wire wheel. As you can see what is underneath is just steel or maybe carbon steel. Blue carbon steel has tungsten and chromium added during the forging process and would be impregnated into the metal, it would not just grind off with a wire wheel.
The pan is fine, the handle wiggles a little which could be fixed with a little work. I just feel that it wasnt advertised correctly so I'm giving it 2 stars because I had to spend close to 2 hours stripping the paint off and reseasoning the pan.
