Didn't like the product and returned it. You cut a length you need, then roll it inside-out, so it turns into a ball of sorts, and plug it into the opening/hole. They don't lock into the hole since it is very light and thin, and rodents easily pull it out. Even after putting their Stuf-Fit foam-based sealant, it doesn't really help. The sealant is chewed through without any issue and it doesn't really repel the rodents. Note: Since most buyers check the product and buy and not the seller policies, I feel it is good to let buyers know regarding Fly Bye vendor return policy. If you return the the item within 30 days, then they charge 20% restocking fee plus the shipping charge they paid to ship it to you. And of course, you are paying shipping for the return back to them. That is their policy, nothing wrong with it - it is good to know that beforehand, so you are aware.
