Was really exited but... the non contact voltage detector VD6504 is way too sensitive and goes off 5in from AC source. Which makes it impossible to determine which wire is hot. First picture shows it going off 5in from outlet/wire, second 1 foot from coffee machine (outlet on the back)! How can you tell is the current source is in the coffee maker, the grinder, the outlet, the cabinet light??? My friend lent me a FLUKE detector and was so accurate you can actually insert it into the outlet and see which wire was hot. Returning this one to Amazon right away and switching brand.
