Was so disappointed with the quality of these boots. After a lot of research on 'best snow boots,' I decided on Sorel's Caribou. Loved the look and after going through the mostly positive reviews, I decided to buy these. Also should point out, most reviews said these run large and recommended buying one size smaller, this worked for me. I usually wear a US 8 and bought US 7, which fit. Anyway, my review is more about the quality of these shoes. Heavy and clunky, I found it hard to take these off without the liner coming out every time. The liner itself was of such poor quality. The liner comes with a very thick elastic band in front at the ankle and because of this I found it hard to fold my legs which made climbing stairs, getting in and out of cars and plain old walking difficult. I have tripped quite a few times in these. My major qualm is with the pricing of these boots. I get that most of everything we get today is made in China, and thus have to settle for the 'Made in China' quality, but when a brand is charging me $145 for something I wouldn't even pay $35 for, then we have a problem. Sure go ahead get stuff made in China, Sorel, but don't expect me to pay through the nose for such poor quality. I returned these and would like to thank Amazon for facilitating such an easy returns and refund process.
