First of all, they are NOT waterproof. I've had these pants through the winter, and were good for taking walks in the cold, but that's about it. I bought these for wildlife photography as I'm constantly getting down on the ground and I wanted something waterproof and warm and durable in the knees. Today I was photographing shore birds and I was sitting on the wet ground and the water wicked right through them and my underwear was soaked and my butt was cold. So I'll be looking for something better, but I'll keep these for taking walks in the winter because they are pretty warm. The sizing is right on and the pants fits great. They also would not work for Snowboarding Pants. They are not loose enough for that and would not make good ski pants either. I gave only one star as they are advertised as waterproof and are not.
