Misleading plot description
I wanted to like this book. There was SO MUCH potential in the plot -- woman who thinks she has a happy, enviable marriage discovers her husband has been unfaithful after his death. THAT was a fascinating idea. But it is given only brief, superficial treatment in the narrative. Most of the book winds up ambling, without direction, with perfunctory dialogues and descriptives. Ultimately, an unsatisfying read lacking much depth at all.
