When I first opened the package I was impressed - sturdy, easy to use, compact. I had some effectiveness but learned that they weren't heavy plastic, after the first use some wear and tear was apparent. I took them to a music festival over Memorial Day weekend and while leveling my van several of the blocks absolutely exploded, leaving more than 60 small orange pieces in a field. Luckily I was the first one there, no humans or vehicles were harmed. I contacted the manufacturer, who claimed to never see this but acknowledged that it can happen if the levelers are placed on or hit a rock. Despite the danger, I accepted a replacement set. Last weekend I was out again. Since Memorial Day I've used 2x8 boards as the foundation for the leveling blocks. The 2x8 slipped on wet grass, the blocks slipped off the 2x8 and for a second time I'm left with tiny pieces of orange shrapnel. Update - second set failed as well. I have contacted the manufacturer for a refund, and I will report back so that others are apprised of their customer service. Further update - no response from manufacturer. Apparently they do NOT stand by their product. I also see that there are more reviews indicating that at least some of these are flawed and crack, break or explode easily. These things can be very dangerous, please avoid.
