I bought the Road Refresher No Slobber, No Spill Dog Water Bowl for my puppy to discourage splashing in her water bowl and flipping her water bowl over. This bowl was a bigger problem than her regular Amazon Basics Bowl. Upon first seeing the bowl, she immediately stuck her paw in the bowl and submerged the floater (it does not pop back up) . She then splashed the water out with her paws and pulled the black ring off the top of the bowl. She then began to dismantle the bowl & chew up the rest of the parts. Lastly, she unhinged the bowl from the Velcro, flipped it over and dumped out all the water on the floor. It was a huge mess since the large bowl holds a lot of water. This bowl may work for a very old, sedate dog. My 3 month old puppy dismantled the bowl in less than 5 minutes.
