So this was my dream monitor I wanted since January 2014, when it was first revealed by ASUS. The specs are impressive, so are the colors and viewing angles. I own a BenQ XL2420T and this blows it out of the water in every single aspect. However, this monitor is plagued by HORRIBLE quality control. I've exchanged this monitor FOUR times and I've been waiting for a replacement for close to a month - ASUS is horrible and slow at repairing stuff. The first time I received this monitor, I spotted 2 bright pixels right off the bat. I requested an exchange and 2 weeks later, they gave me a new monitor which was scratched. It wasn't obvious by any means, but when you pay more than a thousand dollars you will want nothing short of perfection. I requested another exchange, which they did a week later. This time, a DEAD pixel appeared, which was horribly noticeable. The worst part was that it was intermittent, sometimes it didn't work and sometimes it did. I requested another exchange, it's been more than 3 weeks and I'm still waiting for my replacement. Until they ADDRESS these issues I recommend you do NOT buy this monitor until ASUS gets their act together. EDIT: Fourth panel received. Dark spot appeared less than 3 hours after having received it.
