The product description says "Assembly required" but what it doesn't say is that it literally comes as just a bunch of wood slats--the ENTIRE thing needs to be assembled from scratch. And the instructions consist of a one-page diagram that's essentially worthless. The wood pieces were packaged well enough, but the screws and dowels were loose in the box, scattered all over the place. And most of the slats did not have holes drilled all the way through, so you need a power screwdriver to assemble everything. I'd gladly have paid more for partial assembly, decent instructions, and/or better quality assembly preparation.
