A paper machete floppy thingy with plastic bristles. Watch how your money is just brushed away.
Look, I have no idea where all these "good" reviews are coming from. I ordered this expecting the best of the best. My last car wash brust lasted about 2 years so I was happy with it but this one was a 30 percent discount and had better reviews. I purchased it thinking I was going to receive a high quality item. Not so much. During the first wash I generated 3 critical issues. First, the lightweight plastic fittings that hold the "stick/handle" together are weak. They are engineered so thin, the handle wobbles when extended fully. That said, the handle itself is so thin every brush stroke creates the risk the metal or plastic or whatever material its made from will bend. If its metal, then its barely stronger than tin foil and if its plastic it's about the consistency of a milk jug.
Either way, it feels like paper machete and honestly gives me the impression I bought this thing from a dollar store liquidation sale. Second issue, the bumper that runs around the brush which is likely supposed to be high quality rubber but is actually more plastic than rubber flew off while brush the rear gate on my Jeep. Unfortunately it took a couple of seconds for me to register what was happening and I dinged my paint pretty good with the HARD EDGY plastic molding of the brush. Yes, a scratch but being a Jeep, I'm not too overly upset. Just annoyed my brand new brush which was supposed to take things to the next level broke during the first wash. Third issue is perhaps the worst issue. One wash of a Jeep and by the end of the wash, the bristles on the brush where permanently damaged. Like little plastic straws, bent an creased. These are not "fixable" bends, they are permanently bent entirely horizontal to the rest and some either compressed into a nat or left behind in the soap bucket. Literally, this thing is plastic junk. I don't know, the brush looks like the one pictured but it failed to last a single wash. A single wash. There is zero chance I will ever take the risk of using this thing again for fear of totally hosing my paint or even injuring myself when one of the plastic fittings decompresses and the handle fails. This is one example of how NOT to trust some of these reviews. Either we are talking complete skullduggery or completely biased reviews. Heed my advice, go another direction.
