I loved Otterbox cases, had one on my Apple 4s. Now grant it was a reflex series and not a commuter one. I dropped that phone every where without a scratch or crack. Last week bought a S4 and the first thing I did was put a otterbox commuter case on it. The next day I put my new phone on the counter top in my kitchen(less than 4ft off the ground), it slips hitting the tile floor. No biggie I thought, thats why its in a bulky otterbox case. Picked it up and it was cracked across the screen. WTF, this case doubles the size of the phone with thick rubber and plastic. The only thing that keet the cracks in check was supplied screen protector. If anything this case will give you a false sense of security.
