Are you serious?
First, every summer I go to Martha's Vineyard and after reading this book I have to wonder if the author actually went to MV. Instead, I was left with the impression that the author used google maps to identify locations on the Vineyard. Also, early November on MV is freezing. People would not be walking around in tank tops, thin dresses and definitely not swimming in the ocean. Furthermore, where are these forests that the author wrote about? The million dollar properties are not hidden and are clearly seen from the road.
Second, the storyline was so unbelievable and lame. The hero was a clear nut job, and he never explained to the heroine why he was kissing the skank at the wedding. I also felt that the characters were unrealistic. If the hero was a blue blood then he would never have needed to become a gigolo. People typically become prostitutes for the money not because they couldn't make it in Hollywood. Furthermore, the MV bluebloods all go to ivy leagues. So unrealistic. Also, how "convenient" that the hero knew her backstabbing best friend. Ridiculous. I read the entire book out of consideration for the author, but am glad it was free. It is not worth more than free.
