Had I reviewed this product the day I got it, I probably would have echoed all the 4 and 5 star reviews on here. Unfortunately, after one year of use it has become clear that this case is not really made to last. After just a couple months one of the Velcro strips had started to come off, but after contacting inateck support I was only offered $4, presumably to buy thread to sew it back together. While I did have the Velcro sewn back on, within a couple more months the loops themselves quickly began to get pulled apart, to the point that the Velcro no longer sticks together and the flap can't be secured at all, making the case pretty dangerous for carrying around an expensive laptop. If I accidentally pick up the case by the wrong end, my MacBook immediately slides out the other side with nothing to stop it. Finally, within a couple more months a pretty disappointing pilling has developed over the majority of the surface, detracting from the previously nice look of the felt. So while this appears to be a very nice case at first, it turns out it's not a long-term option for carrying your MacBook safely or stylishly. For my next case I'll be looking to spend a little more in hopes of getting something that will last more than a few months.
