The concept is great but in practice I have not found that the system protects my wine any better than a simple vacuum system: high quality red or white wines from Duckhorn, Landmark and others start tasting "off" within 24 hours. Apparently, unless your wine has a prefect "resealable" cork then the system will not work well. Are you willing to "hope" that the system will protect your expensive wine? I would not recommend this system.
