I could not enjoy the interesting, but eerie plot of this book because of the extensive (over 200) swear words. I did feel sorry for the protagonist Winter because of her traumatic past experiences I respected her extensive training and her perseverance. I did appreciate the few characters that pursued good projects and those who changed for the better. Because I had told the author that I would read and review Winter’s Mourn, I completed reading the novel. I then deleted it from my device. I will not read any others in the series, even though the story of Winter and her little brother Justin didn’t finish. It’s a cliffhanger book.
