I am bedridden and I rely heavily on my kindle to keep me from losing my mind. I bought this new one because my old one is dying. It's a 2nd generation and I've used it constantly for years)I'm going to buy another paper white and use it until it dies too. I really hope they continue to make them in perpetuity since the oasis is far too hard to hold. I have advanced arthritis (RA and OA) and holding the oasis is nearly impossible for me and painful too.
