EDIT: Okay - I've had this printer for some time now (a number of years). Very frustrating. It will just not stay connected to the WiFi network! When trying to print a greeting card, it will print the first side of the card, then drop the WiFi connection before it prints the second side of the card. That wouldn't be so bad, but by the time I'm able to get it reconnected to the network, the greeting card software times out and I have to start the printing process over again. This is a tremendous waste of paper, ink, and my time. Paper handling is not very good either. It has difficulty grabbing photo paper (glossy), and often will pick up multiple pages at once - which is bad when you are trying to print two sides (it then prints on the wrong sheet!). Steer clear of this printer. This is not a good photo printer. The printer works fine and the quality is good. The ink cartridges are expensive, but so far they seem to last longer than the ink on my Kodak printer (this one replaced the Kodak). The Kodak has much better printer software. Compared to the software that came with the Kodak, this software is seriously lacking. The printer software is pretty useless in my case (unless you want to print craft projects and greeting cards). Pros: HP brand name. Individual ink cartridges wireless printing - has not failed me yet. LCD touch menu screen easy to navigate Easy setup (easy to get onto wireless network) Decent looking unit. No power adapter on the power cord. Cons: paper handling (don't like the door on the paper tray - seems a bit flimsy) lacking software (especially scanner software) expensive ink (but what printer doesn't have expensive ink). Tend to open printer unit (where ink goes) when just trying to open scanner flatbed (Hey HP, that was a truly poor design on your part)
