This was my first stand mixer ever. I was so excited to use it. Put my butter in to cream it and all it did was throw the butter to the sides and bottom and grate a one inch layer of butter between the paddle and sides of the bowl. I ended up having to use my handmixer. So utterly disappointing. I called Cuisinart. The model is not adjustable. I'm returning it and looking for something else that does the job.
