After losing my Glock Entrenching Tool I needed a replacement. I saw one of these on sale online and figured since I have had good SOG products in the past this would be a good buy. That couldn't have been further from the truth. When it arrived in the box I noticed a distinct spray paint odor coming from it. I got it out of the packaging and realized that the spray paint finish on this tool was only the beginning. The back of the shovel appears to have surface rust that has been spray painted over. The shovel is attached to the handle with a very flimsy bolt. Nothing on the tool fits together well, the serrated edge is a joke, the shovel head is riveted crooked onto the piece that attaches to the handle, the bends on the top are uneven from one side to the other and I would be nervous about putting any digging pressure on it what so ever. It would cost me more to send it back than what it's worth so I figure I will give it to someone I don't like.
