I absolutely LOVED the previous model 22708, and used it daily for almost four years. I was going to purchase the same model again on Amazon, but noticed there was a link to the newer model. The newer model was only two cents more, so of course I purchased it instead. Huge mistake! They’ve inexplicably removed the hooks on the door that slid the wire rack out automatically when you open it. This means you now have to reach into the hot toaster oven and try to get a grip on the pan or food with a cumbersome oven mitt or potholder. The newer model is smaller inside, so I can’t fit things in it that I always had with the older model. It doesn’t have a removeable crumb tray. Because of the smaller size, the trays/pans I saved from my last one won’t fit inside the newer one. Even worse, the brand new toaster oven cooks food terribly unevenly. I attempted to make toast inside the oven, because it was so uneven when I used the toasting slot on top the first time. The front of the toast came out untoasted on top, and brown on the bottom. The back was burned black!!! Extremely disappointed with this new model. If I hadn’t already disposed of the packaging, I would have returned it and ordered the older model instead.
