Don't waste your time, money or health
I am blown away how inaccurate this test was. I tested my finished basement in August '18 in preparation of listing my house for sale. Figuring if I needed radon mitigation, better know and take care of it prior to listing my house on the market. This test showed results of 1.5pCi/L. WRONG! Had a professional test the radon level as part of a home inspection and my radon level is 40.6pCi/L!!!! The professional test and this First Alert test were both in the same exact location, same interior conditions and same test duration. Not sure if the First Alert test was faulty, or the "lab" they send it to a mess, but this test result was off by 2700%. Save yourself the time and hassle and have a professional test for radon, learn from my fail.
