The regular Cottonelle wipes in the blue packaging gave me a TERRIBLE rash. I swore I would never use Cottonelle wipes ever again. I was using hypoallergenic flushable baby wipes but they are quite pricy so I decided to try and find something comparable that cost less. That’s when I came across these Cottonelle GentlePlus wipes. Since these weren’t available when I was last using their regular wipes, I figured I would give them a try. After all, in the description it says these are 95% water and safe for sensitive skin. I’ll admit I was a little apprehensive but was willing to give Cottonelle the benefit of the doubt and I hoped for the best. Well, I’ve only used these twice, 3 days apart and after the initial use, I thought I was starting to itch. I didn’t want to jump to conclusions but after the second use, there is no doubt in my mind these are just as bad as the regular ones. I checked the ingredient list on Kimberly Clark’s website and there doesn’t seem to be a huge difference between the regular and GentlePlus. So whatever ingredient is the rash-causing culprit for me is still in these. If you are allergic to the regular Cottonelle wipes and you are hoping these will be ok, tread with caution. 😞
