If you like history, mystery, and adventure, this is not the book. However, if you like time-traveling bodice-rippers with pink book covers, this book is for you. I hung in there after endless sky descriptions and wardrobe details. I hung in there after giving up hope the plot might emerge. I even hung in there after the heroine makes googly eyes with the obligatory handsome cowboy. But what did me in was when she found a rusty skeleton key and time-traveled back to 1909. I just cut my losses and quit reading. I am a woman but at least I have my pride.
