Don't buy books from Amazon
I've ordered this book seven times from Amazon. I had originally wanted to get a copy for myself and then I thought this would make a good gift for some of my players. Forget it. Amazon seems completely unable to deliver a copy of this without damage. This may be partly due to cheap materials used to make the book, but Amazon is also definitely mostly at fault here. The boxes these have been sent to me in are oversized, under padded, poorly sealed, etc. I was really looking forward to getting this because of the contents. This product was supposed to be in part, a thank you to the long-time loyal customers who have journeyed together, with D&D, and wished to celebrate its history. In reality this item is sub-par due to what I can only assume are cheap materials and poor handling by Amazon. Collectors, you will be greatly disappointed. Damage shown in photos: Bent edges Cracking folds where exterior colored paper is splitting pittled and dented front and back covers scratched surfaces rubbed away gold lettering smashed corners I love books, but I seem to have this problem with amazon all the time. They don't care because most people just accept poor quality items. I don't know why as I work hard for my money and I think most other people do as well.
