Really?
I really wanted to like this book. (I bought it on the hype from WNYC's Alison Stewart -- I won't do that again.) The writing was good and the author's goal was understandable. It was hard keeping track of the many characters and their motives. A bit scattered. But hair grease? Come on now! This should be categorized as fantasy/science fiction. Sorry, just thought it was stupid in the end.
