We purchased this product in November 2016 and after only 2 months of occasional use the sealing component stopped working. We contacted Foodsaver and are still going back and forth trying to get the problem resolved. Every interaction with them takes days to get a response. Keep your fingers crossed that you get a unit that works because if your counting on customer service to resolve a problem you'll likely be disappointed!
