I agree with the other negative post. The echo link looks great, but it doesn't do what Amazon advertised. I was going to use it as a output for my whole house audio system to play music via a routine. Unfortunately the link cannot be used as an output device on routines. Your better off buying an echo dot and using the audio out port. I also have issues with the multi-room support. The link doesn't show up as a multi-room device, even though Amazon states it can be used in that fashion. So either the software wasn't updated before shipping the link, or Amazon took that feature away. Either way I am giving this item 1 star. It's not worth $199. Functionally its only worth $19.99 (or less). Edit. Amazon contacted me within 2 hrs of posting my review. You have to use an iPhone or Android device to setup the echo link as a multi room device. Setting up via a computer on the Alexa portal is a no-go. As of now there is no way to use the echo link in a routine.
