I own the original model when this trash can first came out in 2010. I needed a 2nd one for the house and ordered the latest model on amazon. When I received it, it was defective. The lid and the can did not come together, and lock. I returned it, and ordered a replacement. When I received the new trash can it had the same defect. Watch the video I posted to see what I am talking about. Bottom line buy in store and not on amazon for this trash can.
