Prints were inconsistent while printing the same file multiple times. At first I thought it was a leveling issue and went through the table leveling process multiple times with the same results. Some prints were fine and had no issues. Some were very warped and unusable which is frustrating. While conducting simple maintenance to clear the nozzle, filament from the extruder simply fell off. It appeared to be some sort of heat distribution film along the bottom of the extruder but I'm not quite sure if that is actually what it did. We contacted the manufacturer, Creality, and they maintained that the film would not affect the print itself which is odd because the picture we sent them clearly shows the film extending below the nozzle which would catch on any PLA that adhered to the table. Creality sent us a video on the proper way to clean the nozzle that we did not ask for and needless to say, my wife trying to be proactive opened the video which proceeded to load files onto her computer and disabled the OS firewall. I can't accurately explain my disappointment because of all of the research that I was doing before getting a printer, this printer had many recommendations especially considering the cost. All being said, I would probably rate the product as 2 stars because some of the prints were fine but after trying to resolve the issue with the manufacturer I cannot go higher than 1.
