Extremely Disappointed!
The Worx JawSaw looked great. Its ads and video presented a chain saw limbing tool with a well protected chain saw capable of cutting with minimal effort. Reality was far different. While the chain protection was good, the statement that, "Push a button, and the chain saw lowers and does the work with absolutely no effort." was as far from the truth as you can get. The cutting action is far more involved--1st you have to push in and hold the safety interlock with your thumb, 2nd you have to squeeze and hold the power-on bar--this engages the chain saw. Squeezing the bar only starts the chain saw rotating IT DOES NOT LOWER THE BLADE! To lower the blade, you have to shove--and I mean SHOVE!!!, the orange handle forward. The effort to shove in the handle is substantial! This is a HUGE difference from doing, ". . . the work with absolutely no effort." From the video and the one review we found we thought all we had to do was squeeze the power-on bar and the chain saw started and a secondary electric motor lowered the blade. The part about having to shove in the handle to lower the blade was never noted. We are extremely disappointed and will be sending it back.
