Read if you like violence against women
It didn't feel like I was reading a "Regency Romance" at all. It was not written well, and there was too much repeated violence against the main female character... Not only was she carved up with a knife, but she was shot, and had her fingernails removed, one by one. I had trouble reading it through to the end; not enjoyable at all.
