I don't understand the rave reviews about this cup. Am I doing something wrong? First of all, this is a pain in the butt to wash (especially with no dishwasher). Tiny little parts with a tiny little brush with parts that never dry appropriately. Second, it is super difficult to get liquid through this straw. The directions say to massage the valve before use to open it up. I have been doing this for days and still have a very hard time getting liquid through this straw, as an adult! Not sure how my 8 month old is supposed to learn how to use a straw using this cup. I wouldn't even bother with this cup.
