This product has ascorbic acid in it. I read the ingredient list on a dozen other aloe vera gels and none have ascorbic acid. I have vitiligo and am undergoing laser treatments to darken the white patches but I am getting redness and thought I could use aloe vera to calm it down. Big mistake! Now I see in the reviews others said it made their face itch and break out, it is the vit c! This should be mentioned prominently, very disappointing product and unfortunately I put some on my face before learning of this, not pleasant. This can cause irritation for many unless you have an oily face. Also, this is so watery. Last but not least, it smells terrible, rotten. Misleading product to say the least.
