UPDATE: I reviewed this coffee previously and gave it 5/5. I had a recent purchase that was less than stellar. I believe that I purchased some defective or fraudulent cups. These cups are labeled "THIS UNIT NOT LABELED FOR RETAIL SALE". I have previously enjoyed this coffee, so I purchased a large quantity of the K-Cups expecting the quality that I have had in the past. I thought I was having trouble with my brewer as I was getting errors on the screen saying that it was under high pressure! I perform routine maintenance on my coffee maker. Additionally, 3/4 or more of the K-Cups would spill copious amounts of coffee grounds into my coffee cups. The 1/4 that do not pour all of the grounds into my cup taste weak and stale. So, since my purchase, I brew around 3-4 cups of coffee daily to achieve a less than desirable cup of coffee... I contacted Keurig and performed maintenance on my machine. I was instructed to return my machine and was appalled when my new machine was doing the same thing! I purchased some different coffee from my local grocery store rather than using my Donut Shop K-Cups from Amazon and have not had a problem since. All this headache and it was the K-Cups after all!!! So, I simply cannot recommend this coffee any longer and do not know if I would waste the money and purchase more as I do not know if it was fraudulent or simply poor quality control on the Donut Shop's part. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Previous Review: I can see why this is so popular. The Original Donut Shop K-cup is just a good all-around cup of coffee. This K-cup isn’t a flavored coffee. For my daily coffee, I want a coffee that smells great, is not overly “burnt” tasting and doesn’t leave a sour aftertaste. This isn’t gourmet coffee, but it is a basic medium bodied coffee that tastes almost like a light-roast breakfast blend. The Donut Shop coffee is fairly smooth and not too acidic, but does have a slight aftertaste. This coffee is best alongside breakfast. I would compare it to Green Mountain Breakfast Blend, but say this one is a little better in my opinion. For these reasons, this is my daily go to coffee.
