This replaces the RQ 12 (Minus the /62) and it is terrible. The regular RQ 12 has been in short supply and as a result everyone has raised the price to stupid levels. I won't pay it. According to Norelco's customer service dept., the RQ 12 (old style) is still being made(and has been on back order for several weeks) and when more are available, hopefully the price will get back to non-stupid levels. In addition to this new thing not shaving as well, it is a huge pain in the behind to clean compared to the old RQ 12. In short, Norelco has "fixed a problem that didn't exist) and in the process ruined a very good razor.
