Noisy, which I could tolerate OK, but after a fair amount of use for a couple of years it got smokey and burned. Fumes smelled horrible, and fortunately nothing actually caught fire. I’ve provided several photos. I thought the cooling pad was fine, despite the fan noise .... until the smoke and fumes happened a couple of years into using it. BTW, I kept it on a porcelain tile counter with plenty of air all around it at all times. Scary stuff.
