Not nearly as thick as many other mats that cost a few dollars more. If you plan on standing for 8 hours or more per day on it, I would recommend spending another $20 to get the Sky Mat or the CumulusPro. This mat is really designed for limited usage, like doing dishes, not for extended stationary use. Overall the size is good, it does off-gas quite a bit after removing it from the box, however it does seem fairly well made.
