I've owned one of these for several years. It was a workhorse of a fan and did an amazing job. It was heavy, it was tough, it was a quality product. It was one of if not the best fan I have ever owned. The "Wind Machine" I got in the mail today is NOT the same fan. Its cheap. It weighs about half as much as my old Wind Machine, the plastic is wafer thin now and doesn't even fit together correctly. There are sharp edges of extra plastic hanging off where the plastic mold overflowed (a good 1/4" worth in some places), the highest setting isn't even as powerful as the 2nd setting of the real Wind Tunnel it is replacing. I don't know if I got a knock off version or what, but this isn't the same fan. I think Amazon is selling a new updated model that really dumped on the quality. The pieces don't even fit together, I can't even rotate the fan up and down because the bottom of the fan cage rubs against the base making it impossible to position. 100% junk. If you are like me and have one from 5 years ago, this isn't the same thing. Buyer beware.
