Instruction manual is next to useless. After 1 yr and 9 months (plugged into 115V AC) the green light on the back started blinking with no info as to why. Corresponding with this, it stopped cooling. Using the 12V DC USB cable, the system started working again and the green light stopped blinking. If it was more reliable, it is a useful little item. I would expect more than 21 months of service. It's still usable on 12V DC USB. Made in China - Duh.
