There are a couple of things I find hard to believe about this box set. First, it's 2009, we have CDs with massive dynamic range, recording and processing technology that has never been better. And yet they did the volume maxing job on a Beatles remaster. How could they... You'll get better REAL quality from the old releases. The loudness war lives on. Second, it's 2009, volume maxing still works! Hey guys, it isn't clearer, its louder, its dynamically compressed. You really can fool some of the people all the time...... Well, I guess I'll get a zillion "unhelpfuls" for saying something Beatles fans don't want to hear, but you have a right to know.
